A shower / tub combo is in just about every home in the modern world today, and given options on how to get the cleanest the quickest is not only sprucing up the design notch but creating a more efficient environment to bathe in. A bathroom fixture that comes to mind is the removable/ adjustable hand held shower head. All the better proven manufacturers make these in any finish you desire and they will bolt up and retro fit any almost all our existing showers.hand held bathroom fixture From the kids to stretch (DAD) the height of the head on a slide bar, can remain hands free for comfort and proficiency enabling each rotating new user the ease of location. And when want or need arises just grab and undo for the hand held wand version of rinsing at will. Typically 2 brackets with 2 holes for the slide bar mounting and the water line fastens right into the existing plumbing. You’ll never come clean like this again!!

Fairly cut and dry when it comes to the ole switcharoo here, simply get the same hole pattern as the former faucet then remove and replace, right? Well sometimes things are not always as they seem. Bath and kitchen faucets really wont be needing any special plumbing tools but certain times a basin wrench can speed things along for any of us.basin wrench(right)

enabling use of a basin wrenchDesigned for those especially deep sinks, this beauty can enable the extra reach we can all use sometimes. Ultimately we still have to clear out some room under the sink and flip upside down as we shimmy up and under as this task or basin wrench cannot automatically do it for us. It’s unique swivel jaw allows for tightening or loosening and is 100% cordless. So grab a flashlight and delve on in to have a look and once you see you can get her done with the right DIY plumbing tools.
