Pre Paint Prep with BONDO

Thats right folks the same 2 part epoxy mix that autobody shops use on cars. In SOCal where some of the new rich reside is also Satisfaction Gauranteed seal of approvalwhere some of the best professional house painting occurs. Magazine model material, custom multi-million dollar homes with the same home improvement center paints the rest of us buy and use on our biggest investments in our IRA plans, the biggest dpainting preparation BONDOifference though is the prep work being done to create some of the finest home painting on the prestigious west coast.

I only emphasize this painting prep point, because I see the difference. Bondo or whatever brand you buy will change your homes detail of paint grade finish like night and day. Case and base nail holes, vacuum dents, mars and gouges, offset splices and even some miter joints go from nice job to vavoom. Interior spackling never really can give you that it truly is “all one piece look” but bondo does and does not shrink.

  1. I have a Acer T230H touchscreen monitor. Which is connected to an NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT and the system is running Windows 7 Ultimate x64, with current updates. Everything works properly except for the touchscreen feature. I got a code 10 , the userunit will not start and i can`t find any oher driver, I have tried to install Acer`s latetest driver but my system wil not use it. Current driver is Microsoft 6.1.7600.16385. Please help me.

  3. Hi All, I have strange situation which I am struggling with. We have just performed a desktop refresh and at the same time delivered Windows 7 to the new machines. We use SCCM to deliver the machines and the build process works well. However, I have one niggling problem. The first time a user logs on to a freshly built machine the UAC kicks in and prompts for credentials on the Secure Desktop. In our case the UAC is stopping the application of a video card driver. The UAC and Secure Desktop are working as per design as we are making use of this feature. However, I am not expecting the UAC to kick in and stop the device driver installation. This is becuase I have expliclty defined the Video Card Device Setup Class “4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318″ against the “Allow non-administrators to install drivers for these device setup classes” policy. The one thing I did note is that the certificate used by Microsoft to sign the driver expired on the 23/01/2010. I am not sure is this is the root cause?? I know it is the video card becuase if the Administrator credentials are entered the next event that is viewed is the “Drive finished installing” in the system tray. Can the UAC and this policy work in conjuntion? Has anybody else hit this issue?
